Job Description

Pay: Kent Range3/4 subject to experience Start Date: Immediate We are seeking to appoint anexperienced and well qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team ofenthusiastic, friendly and dedicated staff. This position will be based in KeyStage 2 and is a part time, term time only position, starting as soon aspossible. The post is for 22 hours and 30 minutes per week:

  • Monday: 08.30 - 13.00pm
  • Tuesday: 08.30 -13.00pm
  • Wednesday 08.30 -13.00pm
  • Thursday 08.30 -13.00pm
  • Friday 08.30 - 13.00pm
  • Please note there is a possibilityof additional hours in the afternoon, subject to mutual agreement. The successful candidate will berequired to demonstrate their ability to:
  • Support in class under thedirection of the teacher.
  • Offer 1:1 support to pupils asrequired.
  • Be responsible for leadingdirected interventions with pupils on a regular basis.
  • Support specific SpecialEducational needs.
  • Support the emotional well beingof pupils and have previous experience of the positive impact of yourintervention for groups of pupils or individuals social, emotional or mentalhealth needs.
  • Supervise the class in theteachers absence.
  • Undertake lunchtime andplayground supervision duties each day.
  • Effectively and appropriatelymaintain high standards of behaviour.
