Job Description

Pay: Kent Range3/4 subject to experience Start Date: Immediate We are seeking to appoint anexperienced and well qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team ofenthusiastic, friendly and dedicated staff. This position will be based in KeyStage 2 and is a part time, term time only position, starting as soon aspossible. The post is for 22 hours and 30 minutes per week:

Monday: 08.30 - 13.00pm

Tuesday: 08.30 -13.00pm

Wednesday 08.30 -13.00pm

Thursday 08.30 -13.00pm

Friday 08.30 - 13.00pm

Please note there is a possibilityof additional hours in the afternoon, subject to mutual agreement. The successful candidate will berequired to demonstrate their ability to:

Support in class under thedirection of the teacher.

Offer 1:1 support to pupils asrequired.

Be responsible for leadingdirected interventions with pupils on a regular basis.

Support specific SpecialEducational needs.

Support the emotional well beingof pupils and have previous experience of the positive impact of yourintervention for groups of pupils or individuals social, emotional or mentalhealth needs.

Supervise the class in theteachers absence.

Undertake lunchtime andplayground supervision duties each day.

Effectively and appropriatelymaintain high standards of behaviour.
