Job Description

We are recruiting for a Head of Physiotherapy for a Health and Wellbeing Centre based in Holywood. This Centre focuses on holistic care for current or retired Police Officers.Permanent, Part-time (17-25 hours per week) (days of work to be arranged with successful candidate) Salary: NHS Band 8a (£48,526 - £54,619)The Physiotherapy Department provides a highly specialist clinical service which aims to address and treat client’s physiotherapy needs which have arisen in the face of adversity and conflict. The post will be responsible for the provision, maintenance anddevelopment of current physiotherapy treatment for the client group. This includes overseeing the daily running of the Physiotherapy Department in accordance with the Business Plan and the postholder will play a pivotal role in the development of a multi-disciplinaryteam working in partnership with Coaching and Development and Psychological Therapies Departments.This is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified individuals, the role comes with an excellent benefits package including free on-site parking, generous holidays and gym facilities on-site.Criteria:

Recognised qualification, at a minimum of post graduate diploma level in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Accredited / Accreditable member or working towards CSP Accreditation
A minimum of 2 years’ experience at Band 7 level or above in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) as part of an MSK team
A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing staff
Experience of having led a service improvement initiative
