Job Description

Clinical AdministratorLocation: Holywood, Co DownSalary: £19,000 paContract: Fixed term for 12 monthsHours: 37.5 hours per week 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to FridayAre you a Clinical Administrator looking for a full-time roleDue to continued growth, BHSF Occupational Health is now recruiting for a Clinical Administrator at their Holywood, Co Down office (this role will be mixture of remote and office working)About the Company:BHSF Occupational Health is a leading provider of occupational health services. We are part of the BHSF Group and are based in Birmingham. We look after the occupational health needs of many local and nationwide organisations. We need to increase our admin team to help support the growing needs of the business.Clinical Administrator - About the roleTo provide comprehensive administrative and clinical support service to the clinical team.As a member of the BHSF staff assists and contributes to the operational effectiveness of the department and the companys objectives.

  • To provide clerical support to the clinical team;
  • To cover reception when required at Holywood office;
  • Take delivery of supplies and deal with accordingly: restocking the stationery cupboard, follow the cold chain procedure for vaccine deliveries and take responsibility for any other deliveries as required;
  • To have knowledge of procedures and protocols;
  • To answer phones in line with company policy and deal with customer queries in a professional and efficient manner
  • To have responsibility for occupational health customer administrative processes including booking appointments, processing clinics, closing clinicians diaries, dealing with / filing clinical files and linked copy notes;
  • To work as a team to support the allocated clinicians with the administration and monitoring of associated occupational health contracts, ensuring that clinics are prepared / added to Cohort (including charges if required), processed and closed off correctly on Cohort and maintained accurately including the production of related correspondence;
  • To comply with your obligations under the Companys data protection, information security and other relevant policies when handling personal data or special categories of sensitive data
  • To undertake any other duties as required consistent with the grading of the job which fall within the capabilities of the post holder.
  • To maintain courtesy, professionalism and high standards of presentation in all communications with customers and potential customers;
  • To perform all tasks and duties when required, providing flexibility and cover in a team working environment;
  • Clinical Administrator - Who are we looking forAs a representative of BHSF Occupational Health, you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. You will be highly professional, organised, reliable and able to work independently as well as being part of our existing admin team.
  • At least successful completion of standard numeracy and literacy tests - A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A-C, including Maths & English, preferred
  • Experience of office procedures
  • Previous experience in healthcare or related industries
  • Demonstrate skills in Microsoft packages, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Accurate keyboard skills (RSA word-processing/CLAIT)
  • Ability to prioritise work
  • Ability to learn additional software packages
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Good customer care skills
  • Ability to work in a team
