Support Worker VacancyService type: Community Hub for Adults with Learning and Physical Disabilities and Outreach SupportLocation/s: Base location Holt, Outreach will include various areas in Holt, Wells, North Walsham, Fakenham, Sheringham and CromerHourly rate: £10.69 per hourContract type: Permanent, Zero HourIndependence Matters mission is to empower individuals, their families, and carers, to live the lives they choose and remain independent. Please visit our website to find out more about us.Holt Community Hub is situated in Holt a stones throw away from Holt Country Park. It is a large hub with many different rooms/spaces for varied activities to take place throughout the day. Its a welcoming, sociable, fun, and friendly environment. It thrivesto promote the independence and aspirations of our customers. Within the service it provides daily activities including, Art & Craft, Sports & Games, Horticulture, Cooking, Volunteering opportunities within the local community, trips out, independent livingskills and a Gateway programme which is certificated learning plus much moreThe Hub currently has approximately 45 customers and provides outreach support to 15 customers. Some key tasks and responsibilities required for the role include providing support with personal care as and when required, completing person-centred supportplans, working independently or as part of a team, liaising with parents/carers and professionals, medication, and support with daily activities and household tasks.A copy of the Job Description is available to view on our website.Benefits and RecognitionWe are pleased to offer a wide range of rewards and benefits some of which are highlighted below:
