Location: HoltContract Type: Full time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen at our Holt, Norfolk branch for a Forecourt & shop Manager to run our busy BP forecourt and Co-op convenience store. Experience of working in a Retail environment is essential and whilst knowledge of operating a Petrol forecourtwould be advantageous its not essential as training is provided. Previous management experience is preferable, however we would also welcome applications from someone currently working in a supervisory/team leader role wishing to progress to management.The Manager will be responsible for the effective running of the store, adhering to Health and Safety requirements and relevant legislation, ensuring the safe and successful operation of the BP forecourt and convenience shop. This position is suited to someonewith the passion, desire and commitment to ensure an excellent level of customer service is provided at all times, high standards are maintained and has a passion to improve performance and increase sales through product promotions and enhanced customer offers.You will manage a team of Forecourt Cashiers that work on a rota basis covering the opening hours Monday to Sunday. In addition to managing the department you will also be required to serve customers on a rota basis, replenish the shop and cover shifts as required.The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering fuel, stock & produce for our Coop / Mace Convenience store, keeping the shop fresh and up to date with the latest promotions and offers.We are looking for: Proven experience of working in a retail shop environment. Previous forecourt experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
