Job Description

Year 2 Teacher

  • Location: Solihull/Warwickshire area
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent upon experience
  • Job Type: Full-time, 1 term contract
We are seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a ‘Good’ primary school known for its commitment to providing an outstanding, comprehensive, and balanced curriculum. This role is set to begin in Easter and offers an exciting opportunity for a teacher whois passionate about delivering a diverse and rewarding educational experience.Day to day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons to Year 2 pupils, ensuring a diverse and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Design curriculum and strategic plans that cater to the individual needs of pupils.
  • Evaluate and monitor lessons to continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
  • Use exciting and creative teaching techniques to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team and colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1.
  • Proven track record of raising attainment standards.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
  • Personable, friendly, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
