This role is designed to lead the Manufacturing Engineering effort with the development and deployment of strategies to ensure that NPI/D programs are executed on time and to the highest standard. Develop the clients current and future production capabilitiesand processes, ensuring they are continually improved with the introduction of new technologies while seeking year on year manufacturing cost reductions.Main Responsibilities:• Develop manufacturing strategy in collaboration with Operations Director to support future business.• Coordinate, plan resources and manage support for multiple projects to successful completion.• Implement daily lean management systems to support business operations, working towards process optimization activity to achieve a Right First Time and cost reduction.• Develop existing manufacturing processes and identify improvements in cost, quality and process.• Developing layouts for Plant Production Facility, equipment, processes, and workflow.• Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products, introducing automation where practicable.• Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and regulations.• Budget management, and seek opportunities for year on year cost savings• Provide support for project teams in providing a bridge to design for manufacturability.• Generate and sustain TPM schedules on plant equipment.• Provide and monitor Capacity Planning data for key equipment items.• Work alongside H&S to ensure all necessary policies and procedures are in place and followed.• Development of personnel under your direct supervision, including technical and behavioural coaching.• Support production department with production system improvements.It is preferred tht you has a degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Relevant Experience. Extensive experience working in a highly regulated industry as a Manufacturing/Productionengineer or continuous improvement professional. Leadership or Line Management experience. Experience of budget management
