Job Description

If youre a recent graduate or keen to start a career in the world of Finance and Wealth Management then this could be a great opportunity.Due to recent growth, a well-regarded financial planning and wealth management practice is seeking an Office Administrator to join their team.The successful applicant will initially learn the ropes of the business, very quickly becoming a key member of the team. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, processing work, logging updates and offering administration support to senior staff.As your knowledge and confidence grows, and if you wish, you will be presented with opportunities to complete further studies and to progress your career, potentially moving into an Advisor or Paraplanner role.Previous experience in this industry isnt essential but a relevant degree or previous administration experience in a corporate environment would be a definite advantage.My client offers a friendly team environment, with offices set in a lovely rural location. An 8 hour working day and a real chance to shape the future growth of this business.The Role - Office Administrator:

  • Provide a high level of administrative support whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service to clients of the Practice.
  • Be a key point of contact for clients and third parties dealing with general enquiries.
  • Responsible for business submission using bespoke software.
  • Manage a varied workload in a fast paced environment.
  • Support colleagues when required and maintain up to date and accurate records.
The Individual - Office Administrator:
  • Have excellent IT and communication skills.
  • Be highly organised.
  • A self-starter with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Previous experience of using the CRM software - Salesforce is an advantage but not essential.
  • A relevant degree/qualification or experience in a corporate environment.
  • Excited at the prospect of a new challenge and keen to learn.
The Company:

  • Based on the outskirts of Derby with offices in lovely countryside.

  • Working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
