Job Title: Welding Equipment Service Engineer
Location: South Yorkshire
Territory: South & West Yorkshire and North Derbyshire (home every night!)
Salary: ££ a market leading salary and benefits package

Key Duties:

Carry out all service and maintenance activities on a range of technical welding equipment on customers premises as planned to meet the demands of the customer and company, including; services, warranties, repairs, maintenance, breakdowns and product commissioning.
Develop and maintain customer relationships by providing premium solutions and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard of quality and within agreed timescales.
Promote the sale of additional parts, spares and maintenance/service contracts to existing customers to maximize service revenue.
Manage stock levels carried.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong ability to diagnose electrical circuits and electromechanical systems.
An understanding of welding processes and ability to operate automated welding equipment safely; skill in using hand and power tools.
Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints, weld symbols.
Ability to develop and document procedures.
PC literate in MS Office applications, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate with customers and arbitrate difficult problems.
Willing to travel domestically, must possess a full drivers licence.
