Job Description

Role: Customer Service AdvisorPermanent Salary: £23,000Location: Henley-in-Arden and home working Benefits:Hybrid working, free parking, life assurance, private healthcare, share scheme and career progression opportunitiesWe are working on behalf of a thriving tech organisation who are looking to recruit into their Customer Support due to continued growth, and require a competent Customer Service Advisor to support their customers. This role requires excellent communicationand organisational skills, with the need to be proactive and reactive daily to support new and existing customers and suppliers, working in a fast paced environment.This role will be full time in the office whilst training to ensure you are set up for success, then you will benefit from hybrid working which will be 3 days in their modern offices in Henley-in-Arden and 2 days home working.Role and responsibilities:

  • As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for handling customer queries over the phone first then following up via an email through their service desk portal
  • You will be providing first and second line application support for their customers
  • Support with gathering customer feedback
  • Accurately record details of each call or email received on the service desk, categorising and prioritising the incidents, endeavouring to provide a first-time call fix
  • Take ownership and progression of issues throughout the incident lifecycle, escalating to relevant senior team members if needed and providing the client with regular updates
  • Liaise with product development team for solutions to more complex queries
  • Providing customers with an exceptional level of customer service consistently
  • Once you are more experienced with their product offering you will be responsible for delivering online training to customers
  • Administrative tasks such as updating CRM and processing Excel data reports
Skills and experience required:
  • Proven work history in a customer service or administration role is essential
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
  • Desire to learn and progress within a thriving business
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Confident, resilient, positive and friendly mannerism
  • Confidence to push back and act with a sense of urgency when required
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workload
  • Minimum C grade or equivalent in GCSE English and Mathematics
