Reed Engineering are working exclusively with this Leading Global Manufacturer who due to growth have the following, newly created vacancy.Role – Production Engineer (involving Process, Production and Product Development)Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 DOELocation – Hendon, NW LondonPermanent ContractThe company – Leading SME with over 100 years of trading this is a Global Leading, Fourth-generation family run manufacturer who produce iconic and bespoke sporting equipment.The role,

Design and manufacture of jigs, tools and fixtures on both CNC and manual machining equipment
3D CAD design and CAD /CAM manufacture
Assist with the design and manufacture on new plant and equipment
Problem solving, research and development
Continuous improvement and process evaluation

What we are looking for,

HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant Mechanical Engineer Discipline
Experience of 3D CAD – ideally Solidworks and Fusion 360
CAD / CAM experience
Knowledge of CNC machinery, Setting and any programming would be desirable
Any knowledge and experience of Manual Toolroom Machining would be highly attractive
