Job Description

Our mission is simple… to help the world Love Mondays.Every week, thousands of people across the UK start a new job – and it’s our job to help them get there.REED is a specialist provider of permanent, contract, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutionsWe require multiple Civilian Investigators to cover an existing workload within the MET Police, based in Hendon (with Hybrid working).This is an interim position for an initial 6-12 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.Role Purpose:

  • Action led tasking to progress established criminal investigations.
  • Operation Northleigh is committed to blended working with flexibility covering the main location (Hendon).
  • The usual working week is Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Part time / condensed hours can be accommodated (minimum of 3 days a week).
  • Hybrid working arrangement, 4 days in the office 1 day form home.
  • Overtime is available but not mandatory.
Skills required to be successful in the role:
  • Previous experience of Major / Complex Crime Investigations is essential.
  • Desirable Criteria – Previous experience of working in a Major Incident Room (MIR) or Major Investigation Team (MIT) HOLMES environment.
  • Have sound report writing / written skills.
  • Must be IT literate and have a good command and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
