Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join a growing, independent business based in the heart of Helmsley.The client pride themselves on the quality and care that is put into their high end products, this is also reflected in the service that they provide.As the successful candidate you will have experience within a purchasing/buying role, and have a commercial flair. As part of your new role, you will ensure that required materials have been purchased and lead times are met, while working within a given budget. You will be expected to have excellent time management and negotiation skills.Skills:

  • Proven outstanding organizational & administration skills
  • Strong, confident, communication skills
  • Prioritization of workload to ensure company objectives, manufacturing deadlines and most importantly materials sequencing are met consistently
  • Fully computer literate and conversant with Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook and specifically Excel
  • A practical, creative and flexible team player with outstanding problem solving skills and a can do attitude with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally
