Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join a well-established and successful organisation based at the UK Head Office in Newton Abbot. Managing the distribution of their supply chain process, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for theefficient management and control of the warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety as well as the quality and security of the warehouse and stock.Along with extensive warehouse experience we are looking for a motivational leader with people management skills.Monday to Friday, on site parking with generous annual leave.What will the job involve

  • Managing the warehouse in compliance with the companys safety and quality policies.
  • Coordinating the receipt of incoming deliveries, order picking, dispatch and restocking.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Managing a warehouse team to ensure workflow is managed in line with demand.
  • Providing the team with training and support, conducting appraisals and leading on recruitment and development of the team.
Skills and experience:
  • Extensive warehouse experience along with supply chain and distribution skills.
  • Experience of leading and managing a warehouse team.
  • Quality and H&S experience.
  • An excellent communicator who can work at all levels of the business.
This is a key role in the business and we are looking for a positive and solution-orientated Manager who can lead a team to run an efficient and positive environment.
