Job Description

Are you Customer Service focused and looking for a new role Do you have a mix of Customer Service and practical skills with a keen eye for detail Could you work within a Product Quality Assurance team dealing with customers and suppliers in a wide rangeof scenariosKingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Quality Assurance Coordinator by a leading manufacturing business working with some leading brands in home retailing. As the perfect candidate you will have strong customer service and administration skills but alsobe confident in doing product quality checks including measurements and trials.Working closely with the Quality Manager you will bring the core skills of communication alongside a close attention to detail for both administration and physical product checks. Our client is very happy to train the right candidate on the specific skillsand processes for the role.Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out Product Sample Approval, ensuring that samples submitted by suppliers meet the agreed specification using a range of simple visual inspection and measurement
  • Providing support to customers on technical complaints and installation queries via telephone and e-mail
  • Arranging for replacement products and components to be delivered to customers and end users
  • Recording and monitoring Customer Satisfaction levels, identifying trends and highlighting potential quality issues to the business
  • Assisting the Quality Environment Manager quality system improvements
  • Conducting ISO9001/ISO14001 Internal Audits (after suitable training)
  • Liaising with UK and Overseas Suppliers in order to resolve Quality issues with products
  • Checking stock when a product problem has been identified
  • Any additional duties as requested by the Quality and Environment Manager
To fulfil these duties training will be given on particular skills and processes. To be successful at interview you will need to demonstrate:
  • Great communication over the phone and via email
  • A practical side so you are happy to be trained on Vernier Gages and Micrometers and on simple product checks
  • Good skills on MS Office
  • A customer focused approach
  • An ability to support your manager and team
