We are currently recruiting a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our expanding team.Duties and responsibilities: [include:]

  • Answering and completing IT Support tickets / helpdesk tickets raised by internal/external staff members
  • Office 365 console administration
  • Support sales team with technical queries
  • Social media support
  • Setting up hardware for staff e.g. laptops, desktops, printers etc
  • Assisting in IT projects
  • Follow IT policies and procedures
  • Answering phone calls and passing on messages
  • Any ad hoc duties given by senior management
What we are looking for:Skills:
  • Good communication skillsboth written and verbal
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Confident web browsing
  • Teamwork and ability to work under own initiative
  • Flexibility with hours if jobs run over etc.
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy fast paced environment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Having a driving license is not required but you must be able to get to the offices in Cheadle, Manchester.

Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.Find out more here: https://Qualifications/UKQRS/Default.aspxWorking week: Monday to Friday,37.5hrs a week.Salary: £12,000 per annum.Future prospects: 92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship.
