Job Description

Healthcare Assistants£9.50 per hourGreater ManchesterWe are currently recruiting for a number of Healthcare Assistants to work for a national, market-leading private healthcare company, specialising in mental health, addictions and rehabilitation.Working as an integral member of the ward teams, you will be responsible for assisting qualified nursing professionals in assessing, planning and implementing patient care, whilst also delivering outstanding care according to care plans and liaising withfamily members where required. Other roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients, ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional attributes are promptly reported to senior members of staff
  • Contribute to a team approach in patient care
  • Providing specific interventions for patients, as directed by senior Nursing staff, following on from attaining competency and training
  • Ensuring service users are gaining great service and value for money for their care
What we need from you:
  • A caring nature with a passion to help others
  • Ideally previous experience in a care/support worker/healthcare assistant capacity
  • Ideally experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Understanding of the basic need for strict confidentiality
  • Basic IT literacy skills
