You will join a team who not only look after the healthcare needs of the centre residents, but who also have the opportunity to make a real impact on promoting health and wellbeing.The Immigration Removal Centre at Heathrow is based across two sites (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook) It holds up to 800 males and a small number of females.CNWL NHS Foundation Trust provide primary care, mental health and substance misuse services and are an integral part of the wider IRC team working closely with Care & Custody Officers and the Home Office.Work within the Primary Care Team is varied and includes triaging, emergency care and treatment, health promotion, health screening, end of life/palliative care, effective care planning and liaising with the multidisciplinary team.
