Job Description

EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, an Independent Estate Agency which has been operating for over 80 years to recruit an experienced Sales Negotiator to join their busy sales department.Our clients have always had the clear objective of providing an unrivalled, professional property service based upon the values of honesty, integrity and transparency.Over the ensuing three quarters of a century and three successive generations of the family business, these values have been central to everything they do, elevating their position to one of the longest established, most highly respected and leading firms of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents.As a general practice agency they offer a broad spectrum of property services including the sale, letting and management of residential and commercial property as well as advice on the development and marketing of land and new homes.An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic professional with a positive and enthusiastic approach to join our sales team. The successful candidate would have at least 1 + years residential sales experience and have an empathetic and responsive approach to clients.The role:

  • Sales Negotiator
  • Registering new applicants, identifying their specific requirements and discussing suitable properties
  • Arranging and accompanying property viewings
  • Qualifying and negotiating offers
  • Agreeing new sales and conducting sales progression
  • Identifying opportunities to generate new business/valuations
  • Making referrals for financial services
  • Ensuring that each and every client is dealt with respectfully and honestly
  • Keeping vendors informed regularly of all feedback from viewings, discussing local market conditions and giving advice when needed
  • Working closely with the Branch Manager to meet team performance targets
  • Experience/skills required:
  • 12 months + experience in a property sales role
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Highly customer service orientated
  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Enthusiastic and energetic
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Able to work in a busy environment where they will need to multi-task
  • Able to manage own workload and prioritise where necessary
  • Proficient in IT and software packages
  • Driven and focused on building a career in property
  • Clean driving licence and own car
  • Benefits/Salary:
  • £20k basic salary
  • Car allowance paid monthly
  • Commission on all sales banking (shared team commissions)
  • £30k on target earnings
