Each operating company benefits from ourcentralised model, driving efficiencies, automation and economies of scale.Our vision is to increase shareholder value, accelerate business performance, delightcustomers, enable employees, and protect our business through the innovative and agile use oftechnology and data.Purpose of the role Managing the delivery of project(s) to time, cost and quality Focus on migrating from on premise to Cloud (AWS) hosted solutions and SaaS Portfolio is the full breadth of the Cargo business, eg HR through to Operations, not just a single business domain Portfolio has seen year-on-year growth in size and Cargo Tech team structure growing from 14 to 31 as part of the Transformation programme Scale and complexity of projects ranges from small enhancements or regulatory change to existing systems to implementation of industrial systems in the warehouses.You will make an impact in this role by: Taking full accountability for the successful delivery of projects to time, cost and quality Ensuring the successful launch of projects through the start-up and initiation phasesensuring the creation and maintenance of the project management plan. Defining and validating the project scope, effectively managing change requests Creating and managing the project work breakdown structure and schedule including all tasks, interdependencies, and milestones, to ensure the project is delivered to agreed timescales Creating and manage the project finances including creating the forecast, approving spend against the budget, and tracking actuals to ensure the project is delivered to agreed budget Creating and managing the project quality plan and provide the required assurance that the project is delivered to the expected quality standards Identifying and managing the project risks, assumptions, and dependencies Securing the resources (including suppliers) to deliver the projects and lead/direct them to ensure successful execution of the project, owning and resolving any resource conflicts and issues as they arise. Creating stakeholder management plan and ensure regular engagement and communication including escalating and resolving any issues. Ensure that all meetings, workshops, etc. happen as required to ensure successful delivery of the projects to time, costand quality. Providing regular, accurate updates to all stakeholders on project plans and status. Ensuring smooth handover of the project deliverables into business as usual and ensuring close down of the project in a controlled manner Ensuring compliance with existing project delivery standards and seek opportunities to continuously improve the standards. Delivering on a number of projects, the breadth and complexity of which will vary depending on experience.This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activitiesTo achieve in this role, you are likely to have: Educated to degree level or equivalent experience Recognised Project Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, SAFe,PMI/CAPM or PMP) project management skills stakeholder management skills (internal and external), with a proven ability of influencing and persuading internally and externally ability to assign and track tasks to teams, and individuals, to achieve sign off of deliverables to defined quality metrics workshop leadership and facilitation ability to prioritise, based on limited information available ability to work under pressure Fluent written and spoken English Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully managing and leading projects in a large multinational environment Demonstrable hands-on experience of using project management tools Demonstrable experience of using project management methodologies Demonstrable experience of managing risks, assumptions, issues and Dependencies of projects in a portfolio environmentWhat we offeris: The chance to enjoy a challenging career in an exciting, fast-moving environment in a dynamic industry.
