It is the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residentsmainly adult males, howeverit does house some adult female detainees.Practice Plus Group will be taking over the contract from the existing providers on 1st April 2022 and will be delivering a fully integrated Health & Wellbeing Service focusingaround key patient needs within Heathrow IRC. If you want to make a real differenceto someones present and future with an opportunity to use all of your clinical and interpersonal skills whilst developing new abilities then this is the place to be!What will you be doingAs a Pharmacy Technician in the Medicines Management team, you will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high levelof security.You will be required to work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs. Within this role, you will be an integral member of the Medicines Management team, which forms part of the wider cluster of Healthcare Services. Practice Plus Group policies and procedures and statutory frameworks governing patient care in a prison setting,will be used in order to deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.
