It is the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residentsmainly adult males, howeverit does house some adult female detainees.Practice Plus Group will be taking over the contract from the existing providers on 1st April 2022 and will be delivering a fully integrated Health & Wellbeing Service focussing around key patient needs within Heathrow IRC. If you want to make a real differenceto someones present and future with an opportunity to use all of your clinical and interpersonal skills whilst developing new abilities then this is the place to be!What will you be doingWere looking for an innovative Paramedic, who thrives on a challenge to provide high-quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients in both primary care and acute care needs in an ever changing environment - performing procedures such assuturing, IV access, haemorrhagecontrol, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention. Youll be playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients care, working as part of a team of primary care nurses, and delivering care to patients both within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/ blocks.
