Job Description

Legal Secretary23K - 28KWe are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary preferably with private client experience.Our client is an award winning firm with an excellent level of client care. Our staff are important to us and we want to attract the best talent who are lookingto bring their experience and skill to a client focused law firm with a passion and reputation for excellence.The successful candidate will ensure that help is provided to ease the workload of the Solicitors by providing general administrative support, such as answering telephone calls, taking messages and photocopying documents.Duties:• Typing Solicitors’ audio files and written notes• Transcribing and proofreading legal documents• Take departmental calls and be helpful to all callers• To assist the entire office as and when the business requires.• Experience of working on a legal case management system, opening new files• Dealing with correspondence• Demonstrate a high standard professional approach to clients• Great attention to detail• Polished telephone manner• Works well with others and a team player• Highly organisedSkills and Qualifications:• Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation• Proficiency in word processing software including MS Office• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability to work as part of a team• The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines• Strong analytical skills• A professional and courteous manner• Ability to type quickly and accurately• Ability to use initiative and perform tasks as required• Capable of using legal software• Flexible attitude towards daily tasksPlease send CV to or call for interview
