Band 6 Community Adult Speech and Language Therapist9 month fixed term contract to cover special leaveThis is an exciting opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical skills and experience, supported by a friendly, professional and innovative team providing speech and language therapy to adults in the community, based at Hadleigh Clinic (near Southend on Sea) in South East Essex.We are looking for a qualified speech and language therapist with at least one years’ experience of working as a qualified speech and language therapist with adults who has completed their RSCLT NQT competencies and dysphagia competencies.You will be managing a caseload of people with a range of acquired and progressive neurological communication disorders, and neurological and non-neurological swallowing disorders in a variety of community based settings.The post is full time (1.0wte, 37.5 hours a week), and is currently Monday to Friday with no weekend working required.
