Job Description

Summary Were looking for aSenior Volunteering & Community Officer to join the team at insert property. If you have experience in volunteer management then wed like to hear from you. What its like to work here The English Riviera portfolio is a stunning and dynamic group of properties including our two flagship places, Greenway, a relaxed and atmospheric house is set in the 1950s, when Agatha Christie and her family would spend summershere with friends, relaxing by the river, playing croquet and clock golf, and reading her latest mystery to their guests and Coleton Fishacre, the country home of the DOyly Carte family, built in the 1920s with a tropical garden by the sea. You would bebased at one of the two places but would be working across the two as part of your role. What youll be doing Youll be managing the development and delivery of this portfolios strategic plan for volunteering and communities alongside the property leadership team. Managing and embedding change whilst widening and deepening our relationships with existing and newaudiences.Youll also increase the confidence and capability of others whilst creating a collective, flexible and inclusive environment for existing & future volunteers, communities and partners. Who were looking for Wed love to hear from you if you have:

  • Understanding and good practice of volunteer management.
  • Understanding of good practice in community engagement and involvement, as well as broader participation and partnership working.
  • Practical and successful experience of developing and implementing new products and approaches to volunteers.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to coach and support those managing, supervising and working alongside volunteers and community partners.
  • Strong communication skills.
