Job Description

Summary With your love of working with people and desire to provide a great service, you’ll welcome and talk to our visitors to the shop/outlet answering any questions they have.Contract/duration: 12 monthsHours/working pattern/hours: 538 hrs per annum/ flexibleThis role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments.We are looking for someone who can work 2/3 days per week over our busy period between March and October, then up to one day a week between November and February. What its like to work here Working with a small team, in a beautiful and iconic part of the world, we provide our visitors the opportunity to browse gorgeous gifts and mementos in our small, but atmospheric shop, based in the stable yard at Greenway. Workwith other staff, and volunteers, to achieve our objectives, comply with processes to work safely and securely, and help our visitor have a fantastic experience. What youll be doing Making every visitor feel welcome, and being able to answer visitors’ questions about Greenway and our most famous resident Agatha Christie Having conversations with our customers about our products and purpose when the moment is right.Being able to deliver outstanding customer service and do everything to maximise sales so that the profit can be reinvested in the Trust. Other duties may include receiving, unpacking, and arranging deliveries, creating shop displays and working with othermembers of the team to keep the shop floor area clean and organised.This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and an interest in learning about retail.
