Job Description

SPR Careers are proud to be working with a public sector client to recruit for a permanent HR/Recruitment Administrator based in Great Wyrley.Working Instructions for HR/Recruitment Administrator: Hours: 37.5 hours per week, (Monday – Friday, 9-5pm)Salary: £23,000 per annumLocation: Great WyrleyMain Responsibilities of HR/Recruitment Administrator:

  • To lead on the recruitment advertising and shortlisting of candidate applications
  • Conducting robust telephone screenings to evaluate candidate competency,
  • motivation and personality fit for each vacancy.
  • To set up interviews, including liaison with interviewing managers and candidates
  • by emails and telephone while dealing with recruitment queries.
  • Ensure all interviews are booked into diary management system
  • To administer all aspects of the on-boarding process
  • Ensure HR system (Fusion) is updated with relevant information.
  • Ensure HR databases are updated with relevant information.
  • Process offers to successful candidates and undertake recruitment checks for new
  • appointments, to meet statutory, regulatory and company requirements.
  • Complete compliance checks and audits to ensure HR protocols are followed and
  • to ensure HR files meet statutory, regulatory and company requirements.
  • To provide a professional and comprehensive administrative support function to
  • the HR department.
  • To always act with confidentiality and discretion.
  • The Recruitment Administrator is required to undertake any other reasonable and relevant duties as set by the HR manager as they may arise.
  • To provide a professional and comprehensive administrative resource to the HR
  • department to ensure a speedy completion of all departmental tasks.
  • To maintain proper employee personnel files ensuring that they, always, up to
  • date, secure and kept confidential within the guidelines of the Data Protection Act
  • and GDPR.
  • All responses to recruitment advertisements are processed speedily and professionally with recruitment systems being updated with relevant information.
  • Screening of applicants for short-listing is undertaken effectively and expediently
  • Interview schedules are compiled and communicated and properly diarised with
  • interview panels. Liaise with managers and candidates to arrange interviews and
  • follow through the complete on-boarding process.
  • Providing administration support at interviews.
  • Make offers to successful candidates and undertake recruitment checks for new
  • appointments to meet statutory, regulatory and company requirements.
  • All unsuccessful candidates are contacted within an appropriate timescale.
  • Maintaining records of all applicants and interview outcomes.
Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a Recruitment Administration role is essential.
  • Previous experience working within a Care organisation is preferred.
  • Experience with in-house recruitment or agency recruitment preferred.
  • Experience of working with Employee Record systems preferred.
