Job Description

Our client is a global manufacturing business which has grown both organically and through acquisition.Due to continued success our client is now looking to appoint a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. Reporting into the Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will be expected to lead, drive and manage the day to day operations of the maintenance function.This role could suit either an experienced Supervisor or an experienced Maintenance Engineering looking to take their first step into a full time, supervisor role.As Maintenance Supervisor, your tasks would include:-

Monitoring team attendance, holidays and performance
Working in conjunction with the CI team to improve processes and systems
Providing ongoing leadership and support to the engineering team
Maintaining PPM schedules
Planning daily workloads for the shifts
Producing progress reports for the Senior Management team.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have:-

A background within maintenance engineering
Some supervisory experience within an engineering capacity
An engineering qualification (ideally electrical)
Excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of RCA.

Due to the nature of the business, experience of working within FMCG or similar fast paced role would be advantageous. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, days.In return for the right candidate, our client is offering a competitive numeration package, 5% pension, 23 days + 8 stats, ongoing support and training.
