As a company they are known for their commitment to culinary innovation and exceptional student experiences. Their team of talented chefs and dedicated staffwork together to create memorable dishes that delight the students and staff.As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in their kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with the Head Chef and the culinary team to create innovative menus, maintain consistency, and deliveroutstanding dishes to the students.This position requires a strong foundation in culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating culinary masterpieces.Responsibilities:* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in your assigned section, following the recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef.* Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning of all dishes.* Assist in menu development, contributing creative ideas and suggestions for new and seasonal dishes.* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, including stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.* Ability to work passionately within the team and also have the confidence to supervise the kitchen during the weekends.* Monitor and enforce adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating efficiency and teamwork during busy service periods.Requirements:* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar role in a Education or B&I establishment.* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavour profiles, and food presentation.* Ability to work well under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Creativity and ability to contribute to menu development.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable.
