Job Description

Account Manager - Strategic Marketing Consultancy - Hybrid - Crowborough - Fulltime - Permanent - £23k - £29kMy client, a specialist Strategic Marketing Consultancy, based in Kent, is currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their close-knit team. Experts in the construction sector, their clients comprise of product manufacturers, distributors, buildingcontractors, industry associations, and consultancies. They offer a range of services; primarily as strategic consultants but also a full marketing outsource for clients as well as mentoring and managing resources, suppliers, campaign activity, and full projects.The Role and YouThis role will require you to be managing a portfolio of clients and will involve working closely with the rest of the team to share knowledge and skillsets. Whilst managing your own accounts and building on relationships to develop business, you will alsobe working with the Directors to convert prospects to new clients.Project Management skills are key for this role, as you will regularly recommend services provided by their network of partners, from designers to SEO specialists.Job Role

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Attending meetings with clients
  • Assist on compiling marketing strategies
  • Consulting clients about campaign requirements and objectives
  • Creative thought and ability to think differently and to be adaptable to quick-changing ideas
  • Liaising with suppliers (e.g. designers, web developers, and media agencies) including writing briefs and managing tenders, as well as overall responsibility for project management
  • Agreeing and managing timescales and budgets
  • Developing the strategy, delivering marketing campaigns, and monitoring their progress
  • Analysing, interpreting, and presenting campaign results
Key Role Requirements
  • Driving license
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge and experience
  • The ability to work to deadlines and cope with the consequent pressure
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and the ability to show initiative
