We are looking for experienced HR professionals to join the HR Team based in Glenfield providing strategic HR advice and support. As an Adviser you will have your own allocation of clients where you will get to know their business and their ways of working.You should be flexible in your approach and willing to offer proactive solutions to complex HR issues balancing the needs of the client and advising on associated risks of actions taken.Working with supportive colleagues in a team already delivering excellent HR advice and support to a range of external clients, postholders will be required to advise on all aspects of HR policy including attendance management, performance management, grievance,disciplinary and organisational change. HR Advisers are required to deliver training, present at our termly HR briefings and undertake work on a consultancy basis, including carrying out disciplinary and grievance investigations where commissioned by clients.• Be able to demonstrate that you can be an active member of the team contributing to continuous improvements in service delivery and manage your own varied and busy caseload.• Be willing to quickly learn about our clients and the terms and conditions under which they work, including Pay & Conditions of Service, support will be provided.• keep up to date with HR and employment law developments to inform practice and advice, including being aware of sector trends and associated national policy.• Be an excellent communicator, both written and oral, with the ability to inspire confidence to enable clients to make the right decisions.• Be a creative and analytical thinker who can establish the best way to get things done through the delivery of quality services.• Be a team player and someone who takes ownership and accountability for their actions as well working creatively and collaboratively with their colleagues.• Be flexible with the ability to adapt to support the needs of the business.• Be willing to facilitate training courses and contribute to the development of new resources to enhance our offering to our clients
