Job Description

An experienced Material Planner is required to work for an established, successful and manufacturing company based in the Coventry area. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career and to work for a company which is flourishing withinthese challenging times.Responsibilities of the Material Planner

Production Planning of customers orders to ensure OTIF delivery.
Work closely with Procurement so that they understand requirements and lead times for materials, components and sub contract services.
Manage and maintain a variety of spread sheets and BOMs. You will extensively use the MRP/ERP system which is SAP.
Expediting material to the shop floor.

Experience and skills required as a Material Planner

Previous experience as a Production/Material Planner within a manufacturing environment.
Thorough understanding of ERP/MRP systems and how to get the best out of them.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent IT skills including MS Project, Excel and Outlook.
