Stock Controller / Inventory Control Lichfield - WS13Salary 22kMonday to Friday - 6am-2.30pm or 8am - 4.30pmStock Controller / Inventory / Lichfield / 22k Gi Group are working with a worldwide Transport and Logistics company and are looking to recruit a Stock Controller to join them on a very exciting journey.The role as a stock controller is to maintain accurate records of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards and to ensure the regulation of in stock level complies with inventory parameters.Purpose of the role:* Oversee the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation of stock* Collaboration with production personnel to ensure manufactured products are of consistent quality* Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain* Oversee the placing of orders and ensure requested goods are deliveredMain Duties:* Manage and maintain inventory audits on a regular basis* Track shipments and keep records up to date on a day to day basis* Liaise with the internal teams and warehouse staff to test the products quality* Manage the orders and inventory controlsSkills and Attributes:* Knowledge of spreadsheet programmes and computer applications such as excel, word is necessary for this position* Strong customer service skills and interaction with clients on a daily basis* Good mathematical skills as may need to calculate shipping costs and taking accurate inventory of stockPlease call Emma onGi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
