Job Description

Call Desk Team Leader

  • Our market-leading client is seeking an experienced Customer Service / Retention Team Leader to join a busy department within their operations function.
  • Purpose of the role is to lead, mentor and develop your small team of circa 5 staff, all of whom are required to work to SLAs and KPIs in a very busy call deck environment.
Key duties
  • Leading a small team of Call Desk Advisors whom are supporting business customers with all their enquiries relating to services, products, breakdowns, installations, remedial work, appointments etc.
  • Your team are managing volume orders processing, whilst also producing quotations
  • Responding to volume calls within a busy call desk environment according to call targets KPIs and SLAs
  • Speaking largely with business customers, but also includes residential customers
  • Using a variety of IT systems to record, process and update customer information including: MS Office, word, excel, emails as well as bespoke databases
  • As a Team Leader, you will produce reports, follow HR practices, support recruitment, conduct reviews and set your team goals and objectives to develop then in their role and the wider business
  • You will work closely with many internal departments to collaborate on best practice and deliver a first-class service
  • You must be a solution driven personality, someone with a positive mindset, and the ability and enthusiasm to achieve business objectives
Salary and Benefits
  • £27,000pa
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
