Job Description

At Reed Education we are currently helping a school to recruit Teaching Assistants in a very special , niche area from now until the end of the summer term and from September.We are on the look-out for people with a passion and drive to help young people with difficulties. You will need:Relevant experience of supporting young people in an educational or youth work establishment.You will need to have either life experience or knowledge of how to help and mentor young people who are facing daily challenges with mental health issues or other difficulties.We are looking for people who can quite simply help others to motivate them to find their path.This is a specialist school who provide Education to young people in care or are looked after.We are looking for Teaching Assistants or Support Workers who can:Show compassion , warmth and an interest in young people and their lives. You will need to have the knowledge and strength of character to help young people who need guidance in their every day lives and Education.You must be someone who can act with compassion and show humility but also be able to build trust with young people.
