Job Description

Salary: PO3 £35,868 - £38,861 (£38,381 - £41,583 FTE)Location: Based in our West London/Berkshire region, with occasional travel to other schools and our head office in Sutton. Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, term time (39 weeks) + 3 weeks (42 weeks per year)Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT) is a family of specialist education providers for over 1500 pupils and students from nursery to further education across 15 academies and 8 college centres in London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. Supportingour academies and college, OHC&AT also operate learning support, such as nursing and therapy, and business support services.Pupils and students within the OHC&AT family have a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs including autistic spectrum disorder; speech, language and communication difficulties; social, emotional and mental health; profound and multiple disabilities;and physical disabilities including multi-sensory impairment and complex health needs.OHC&AT is a rewarding and inspirational place to work, where everyone works together to create the best possible outcomes for students.The HRBP will provide the full range of generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role is supporting a client group of three schools and one college centre and there is a focus on ER and recruitment. The successful candidate will be ableto provide proactive training and coaching to managers within the region.The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in education or another regulated industry and be able to demonstrate:

Solid HR Business Partner experience, ideally Chartered MCIPD or CIPD level 7
Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and persuade
Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and to adapt to change
Effective, logical problem solving
Resilience and tenacity when challenged
Numerate, strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Excellent written communication
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook

This role is based within the region and you will be expected to work 2 days per week in our school in Slough and regularly visit the other schools and centres within the client group. There is flexibility to accommodate some home working.
