Job Description

Personal Skills and Characteristic Traits

  • Experience in Contracting, administering contracts and/or quantity surveying
  • Would benefit from knowledge of contractlaw
  • Attention todetail and tenacious ability to follow procedure and drive processes through each step, especially when involving other teams and theclient

  • Role and Responsibilities
  • Office Based
  • Create and send Applications for Payment and Invoices to clients
  • Managing subcontracts, including signing-off subcontractor payments up to £5,000
  • Creating subcontractor scopes of work and raising works orders to subcontractors
  • Liaising/negotiating with subcontractors if needed to agree rates and prices for jobs in line with above
  • Documenting Variations to Contracts using the variations register
  • Track and report-on spend to ensure projects stay within budget
  • Calculating and monitoring PM and site management time on each project to calculate GP2
  • Raising notices and certificates where required under contract
