Job Description

FINANCE TEAM LEADEROur client is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator or Finance Team Leader to join their growing accounts team. The purpose of your role is to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day accounts function on top of Budgeting& forecasting, month end, P&L, VAT, and preparing Management Reports. This is a fantastic opportunity with one of Plymouths well renowned companies.Your role will involve but is not limited to:

Raising customer invoices and ensuring payment received within terms
Verifying Sub Contractors with HMRC
Ensuring to action payments on Xero for month end
Running financial reports
Raising subcontractor certificates
Work to HMRC guidelines
Submitting VAT Returns
Conducting bank reconciliations
Maintaining client cost spreadsheets
Working with the Commercial team to monitor and report profitability of projects
Ensuring Reverse Charge VAT is adhered to
Ensuring documents held comply with GDPR

The Person: will attain a high attention to detail and go about their work with a high level of accuracy. You will have prior experience within an Accounts based role and experience in managing a junior member of staff will be beneficial. Experience workingwith CIS regulations is beneficial but not essential.
