Job Description

Ventro are looking for a team of 2 carpenters to join our company, covering the south west.As the carpenter team you will work across various Ventro projects completing fire door installations. We have continuous work available, you would be based from Head Office in Plymouth.Duties will include

  • Installation of fire doors
  • Measurement of doors/frames
  • Appropriate use of all materials, tools and resources
  • Ensure quality and standards of work are high
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
  • Undertaking any training necessary for the role
  • Ensure all work is evidenced through our HILTI app
    • Skills
  • Driving License and access to own vehicle (Ideally a van large enough to transport doors)
  • Carpentry NVQ
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Previous carpentry experience; especially when fitting fire doors
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Willingness to travel
  • Access to smartphone in order to update the HILTI app
  • Be Asbestos-aware, and preferably first aid
  • Provide own battery-powered tools
  • Smart phone for recording works completed (before, during and after photo’s)
  • The applicant’s company must hold Public Liability Insurance
  • Provide a DBS (CRB) check
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Have good full past work references / portfolio
