FLT COUNTERBALANCE & REACH DRIVER / SENIOR STORES OPERATIVEMONDAY - THURSDAY: 08.45 - 16.45FRIDAY: 08.45 - 16.15£24,000 PER ANNUMPeople Solutions are looking for an experienced Senior Stores Warehouse Operative holding valid accredited FLT licences for Counterbalance and Reach.You will maintain a high level of service to internal and external customers.The warehouse operation is a critical aspect of Inventory management and the supply line, from which our clients expect a high standard of service and professionalism.Benefits

Day to Day Duties

Driving/Operating FLT Trucks in and around the warehouse
Perform functions related to the receipt, storage and dispatch of physical goods
Pick, pack and dispatch inventory for sales orders
Returns to be labelled and appropriate paperwork raised
Complete and process all applicable documentation for movement of goods and stock levels, adhering to company policy to maintain integrity of inventory records
Inventory management i.e. stock counting & stock rotation
Assist in maintaining the security of all warehouse stock and equipment
Assist with maintaining stock levels, locations and computer stock
Receive incoming inventory against purchase orders processing the relevant transactions as required
Liaising with third party transport/ parcel couriers
Loading/unloading of trucks & containers.
Check delivery for accuracy of quantity and specification. Identify and record as directed and report any issues or concerns to Management
Receive incoming consumables - forwarding appropriate paperwork for payment
Investigate any stock discrepancies and advise the Manager

Essential Skills

Warehouse & Stock Management experience essential
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Valid Forklift Truck Licences (Reach/Counterbalance)
Proficient in OPERA or similar
Familiar with web-based Freight Systems
Knowledge of Outlook or similar email software
