Job Description

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL, COSMETIC or TOILETRIES INDUSTRY!!!!UNFORTUNATELT IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED IN ONE OF THESE SECTORS YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDEREDTitle: Warehouse OperativeSalary: £23,500Location: ElstreeHours: Monday - Fri day - 9.00 to 5.00pmOur Client who are a well established business of over 25 years, a market leader in their industry are seeking a competent, professional Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift licence.Experience in a manufacturing environment is ESSENTIAL, working within tightly regulated procedures and strict guidelines.The main purpose of this role is to support the end to end warehouse function from goods in to dispatch. Our client are expecting a very high standard of work to be delivered.PLEASE NOTE: DBS checks will be carried out by the employerResponsibilities:

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming goods and completion of associated documentation including requests for quality control testing.
  • Placing incoming stock items into their storage locations and recording the location on Inventory Control system
  • Picking and assembling Finished Product orders for dispatch
  • Work in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Cold Chain Distribution (CCD)
  • Operation of counter balance fork lift trucks
  • To be on-call, out of hours, for a minimum of 7 weeks per year (sessional on-call pay rates apply)
    • Experience and skills:
  • Counter Balance truck licence
  • Reach truck licence
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic or Toiletries
  • Impeccable attention to detail and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Previous experience of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
  • Previous experience of GDP (Good Distribution Practice)
