About the company:Our client is a market leader within the pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution field looking to recruit a Responsible Person / Quality Assurance Lead to join their business.

About the role:The Responsible Person will be responsible for ensuring all processes under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) are maintained. The Responsible Person will support and deputise the Head of Quality in ensuring the provisionsof the licences are observed.The key areas of the Responsible Person role will involve the following:

Maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Assure the compliance of all activities with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements.
Responding to medical information enquiries from healthcare professionals, community pharmacies, patients, and wholesalers.
Ensuring the completion of checks for new products; having the appropriate licence, the product is authorised for sale, the commodity code is correct, legal category correct, correct storage conditions and requirements imposed by national law are adheredto.
Identifying risks and to take necessary preventive measures pro-actively.

The ideal candidate for the Responsible Person role will have the following background:

Degree qualified in a Scientific subject area
Ideally you will have had experience working as a Responsible Person/RP on WDA - although, we are open to considering candidates who are not yet RP qualified, but have strong Quality experience and feel they can develop into an RP within the next 6-12 months.
Has a real passion for quality and wants to champion change around the subject matter within a growing organisation.
Experience working under MHRA guidelines
Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and commercially driven environment.
