Responsible Person (RP) / QA ManagerElstree, HertsTo c £60,000 and bonus and benefitsMy client is an established global pharmaceutical company. They have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced RP / QA Manager to join their team. The focus of the role is to undertake the responsibilities and duties of the Responsible Person, as defined within GDP guidelines for Medicines for Human Use, and undertake the role of QA Manager.The successful candidate will have a relevant Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science or Life Sciences, or be a Pharmacy Technician with experience including dealing with wholesale suppliers and requirements of EU GDP, experience in a Senior Quality Assurance position, holding the position of named RP.Key Accountabilities and responsibilities :Accountable for the Quality Management System (QMS)Management and Development of the QA team ( 3 - 4 team members )Maintain knowledge of GDP and logistics developments and emerging regulationsDecide on disposal of stock affected by return, rejection, recall on hold or suspected of being falsifiedProactively lead simplification of process, while ensuring compliancePromote continuous improvement and good practiceWork with QA to meet KPIsResponsibility for new product approval and maintenance of existing productsConduct and support Quality planning, including the audit schedule, third party QTAsResponsible for advising business areas on : Risk Assessments, Change Control, Deviations, Root cause, CAPA, Customer and Supplier ComplaintsKey DutiesWorking closely with QA and Department Heads to assess the suitability of third- party contractors , report on devitions perform RAs and implement CAPAs to improve systems and processes, ensure all activity is recorded accurately and data integrity of the records is maintained, identify and deliver company GDP training where required, and ensure Customer and Supplier Qualification is undertaken in a timely manner.For more information and to apply please send your CV
