Contracts EngineerLocation: Elstree, HertfordshireSalary: £28k to £46k + Bonus & BenefitsOur client is a provider of Industrial Steam, Thermal Oil and Hot Water Boilers. They also provide Thermal Oxidisers and Burners.The Contracts / Projects Engineer will have a good understanding of managing small and large engineering installation projects and have a background in mechanical engineering, with a good understanding of electrical engineering.The Contracts Engineer will have a good understanding of combustion equipment, AutoCAD drawings, both mechanical and electrical wiring diagrams.The ideal Contracts / Projects Engineer will have practical engineering skills plus a formal qualification in a related field such as Mechanical Engineering, process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.Contracts Engineer / Project Engineer - Duties:-- Day to day management and delivery of awarded contracts within agreed project timelines and specification- Ensuring that accurate data is assembled and recorded to enable the procurement and manufacture of equipment to fulfil contractual requirements.- Working closely with Field Service Engineer, Sales Engineers and clients providing quotations for each contract/project- Co-ordinating multiple projects through design, procurement, construction, installation through to commissioning- Checking the contract data to ensure it complies with design data within the framework of the Company’s ISO9001 quality control procedures- Ensuring contract financial requirements are adhered to within the time scales specified.- Clear liaison between departments, customers and sub-contractors to ensure the contract requirements are met by time and budget.- Management of contracts, both small works and of large projects from concept to completion.- Attending site meeting and review contracts- Demonstrating good client and sub-contractor relations and ensuring that budget targets are met.- Negotiating terms and conditions of the contract with the client.- Liaising with suppliers and contractors to finalise tender proposals and ensuring clients specifications are met.- Submitting applicable specification documentation and drawings to manufacturing and for client approval.- Coordinating commissioning of the equipment along with issue of handover O&M instructions and final certification documents.- Planning and reporting delivery times and budgets ensuring all aspects of the project meet client and company expectations.Right & Square Recruitment is an employment agency and employment business Required skills
