This includes the influencing of national and regional policy and co-ordinating and driving forward of the deliveryand management of regeneration and economic growth projects including those funded with European Structural Investment Funds.You will work as part of a team of 9 staff responsible for the financial management, monitoring and reporting of externally funded projects being delivered both within Northumberland and the wider North East area.The RoleWe are looking for a Project Claims and Finance Officer to manage and organise the administration of applicant grant claims and to provide financial support to externally funded programmes within a team of support and ancillary staff.We are offering:- A starting salary of £22,571 - £24,920 (Band 5)- Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme- A wide range of staff benefits including a competitive annual leave provision- Flexible working arrangementsEssential requirements:A good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy.NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a business-related disciplineYou will have well developed interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to quickly build good working relationships both within the Team and with external organisations.
