Northumberland Children and Adults Safeguarding Partnership (NCASP) Business Manager.Working Pattern: Full timeEmployment location: County Hall, Morpeth/Hybrid model appliesContract Type: PermanentSalary: £49,246 - £52,686The role:We are looking to appoint a Business Manager to join our recently integrated Northumberland Children and Adults Safeguarding Partnership (NCASP), a multi-agency partnership which brings together agencies who work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children,young people and adults at risk across Northumberland.The purpose of the Northumberland Children and Adults Safeguarding Partnership (NCASP) is to support the Statutory Safeguarding Partners and Relevant Agencies to fulfil their responsibilities for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adultwith needs for care and support, and to ensure the effectiveness of safeguarding practice in Northumberland.This is an exciting opportunity to influence and inform the development of the newly formed partnership and support a think family approach and stronger culture of working together to keep children, young people, and adults at risk safe.This is a highly influential role in helping to ensure we achieve the best outcomes for children, young people and adults at risk. As Business Manager, you will have the vision, leadership and drive to meet the challenges of the role, the ability to work successfullywith the Clinical Commissioning Group, Police and wider Partnerships and senior management, and champion the voices of the child and the adult. The Business Manager role includes managing and coordinating the strategic development of the partnership, and leadingon Board programmes of work in relation to safeguarding the welfare of children and adults at risk.Who are we looking forThe successful candidate will have- Significant knowledge and experience in relation to childrens safeguarding either through the Police/Social Care or Integrated Care Boards (or similar).- A good understanding of issues relating to safeguarding adults at risk, and a commitment to a think family and life course approach to safeguarding.- A robust understanding of multi-agency safeguarding partnership arrangements and responsibilities for safeguarding.- Demonstrable experience of effective partnership and inter-agency work, motivating and empowering others.- Experience of managing and coordinating complex projects and work programmes, setting clear priorities, outcomes and standards, and managing resources and timescales effectively.- Proven ability to influence and develop positive relationships, and the ability to work innovatively to identify opportunities and drive continuous safeguarding improvement.- Considerable ability to analyse and interpret complex information, legislation and data and make sound professional judgements and recommendations.For an informal discussion in relation to this post please contact Karen Wright, Senior Manager Safeguarding Adults on .For further information please see the attached job description and person specification.About NorthumberlandWorld renowned as a visitor destination, Northumberland is also the ideal location to strike a perfect work/life balance.
