Job Description

Redmill Consulting’s Accountancy Practice client is currently looking for an Accounts Manager for an exciting new permanent job. Based just outside Edinburgh, this organisation is looking for an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant who has a good knowledge of preparing first draft accounts which will then be reviewed by a Senior Accountant or Manager. The role will ideally suit candidates who are good communicators as this will involve direct client liaison.Why Work Here

    • JobThe job of Accounts Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Preparing accounts for review
  • Preparing VAT, Corporation Tax & Personal Tax returns for review
  • Working on a varied client portfolio
  • Carrying out reconciliations
  • Preparing accruals
  • Communicating with clients including offering some advice
    • YouThe job of Accounts Manager will require you to ideally be skilled in the following:
  • Experience of working in an Accountancy Practice
  • Skilled in carrying out most of the above tasks, bearing in mind this work will be reviewed by a more senior/qualified member of staff
  • Qualifications are beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communicator
