Job Description

Software DeveloperMy financial services client have an opportunity as you would be part of a big project that would jump start your careerYou will be willing to work on support tasks at the beginning with a mentor who his top of his class, in both technology and insurance market.Responsibilities:

  • Programming
  • Managing client code, database updates and version control
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering
  • Product roadmap
  • Product Development
  • Customer support
  • Infrastructure Management
  • Application and database design, development, maintenance and user support, using:
    • VB.Net
    • ASP.Net
    • Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
    • Crystal Reports
Experience:
  • Redgate Suite of Applications for SQL Server
  • Telerik Controls
  • VB6
  • Sheridan Add-ins
  • InstallShield
  • Business Analysis and Customer Support
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and document business and functional requirements
  • Develop solutions to meet the agreed requirements
  • Deliver system updates including new functionality and bug fixes
  • Provide remote client support on all aspects of the application to include system errors and user guidance
  • Log, estimate and prioritise workload
  • Infrastructure Management
  • Server monitoring and housekeeping
  • Ensure the network is operating effectively
  • Specify hardware requirements for client and internal environments
  • Software installation
  • Client Website Support
  • Site maintenance and housekeeping
  • Maintaining SSL certificates
