Job Description

Our client in Sunderland is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Advisor to join their Payroll and Finance Team, on an 18-month fixed term contract.The Payroll department provides the accurate and timely delivery of the Group’s payroll monthly. The team carries out a wide variety of Payroll processing and Staffing data activities, including Starters, Changes, Leavers, Payroll deductions and Payments.As a team they work closely with HR and the Groups wider internal departments and external 3rd parties, including the Groups Pension schemes.The role is subject to a basic DBS paid for by the company.Key responsibilities will include:Process Payroll & Staffing data, including starters, changes and leavers, deductions and payments, mileage, expenses and overtime claims.Maintain accurate HR, Payroll and Pension records to reflect changes in personal data that may affect payroll calculations, whilst preserving the confidentiality of information in accordance with Data Protection requirements.Assist in the administration of the Group’s pension schemes in accordance with relevant legislation.Accurately collate and present payroll data as required. Assist in the preparation of various payroll and staffing reports.
