An outstanding new opportunity has been created at the new Head Office of one of the UK’s most dynamic Chartered Wealth Management Houses.Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Product & Design with a dotted line into Marketing, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the public facing marketing websites.Role OverviewAs an experienced web developer, you will be 100% hands-on and will be working with the Product and Marketing teams to: Transform current public facing websites to improve search engine optimisation (SEO),increase web traffic and new client conversion to achieve ambitious growth targets Use React.JS, CSS, and HTML to develop visually impressive page designs created in Figma- having a keen eye for detail is critical Ensure all web pages are developed using Responsive’ web design principles to ensureeverything is mobile optimised’ Optimise web pages for maximum speed, scalability and SEO Utilise Low Code’ web development and CMS platforms such as WebFlow or Framer toincrease turnaround times of development and marketing campaigns Contributing to product team delivery of brownfield and greenfield change initiatives Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives Contributing to, and following, software development best practices Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff Taking ownership of delivery of work assignedOther key responsibilities include: Contributing to regular Scrum ceremonies Embedding software development best practices across the team Building and maintaining relationships with other IT teams Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives Involvement in solution design workThe Idea Candidate Highly motivated individual with a passion for continuous improvement Collaborative in nature and enjoys working with others, both in the office and with remote teams Enjoys coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team Shows initiative and can make pragmatic decisions Have a strong passion for software engineering and other technology domains Enjoys autonomy and is willing to take ownership of initiatives from inception to completionTechnicalMust haves: Demonstrable SEO experience Web development technologies inc React.JS, Javascript, CSS, and HTML Willingness to quickly learn Webflow or Framer if no current experience in those technologies CI/CD technologies and principles inc. Azure DevOps and Git Software engineering standards and best practices Software and application architecture Testing frameworks and best practices TDD and BDD preferable Microsoft Azure inc.
